Amaro Wierenga is our slow sipper—rich, dark, and built to shine on its own. Enjoy it neat or on the rocks, or use it to anchor a cocktail that calls for a deep, resonant base. Makes a lovely Espresso Martini. Wierenga carries notes of black licorice, warm fig, and powdery cacao, layered with hints of umami and sea salt, reading initially sweet on the tongue and finishing with a slightly dry salinity. Wierenga isn’t meant to replicate a traditional alcoholic spirit. Instead, it stands on its own: an amaro inspired by the familiar, beloved flavors of the Netherlands, brought together to form something entirely new yet warmly familiar. It also pairs beautifully with bold spirits like bourbon, mezcal, and dark rum, lending depth and character to cocktails for any bar program or home mixologist—boozy or booze-free.
