NØLO Recipe: A Few Good Things

Cool, crisp, and herbaceous. A Few Good Things is a botanical reset built around Aplós Ease.

Fresh cucumber and mint keep it green, lime wakes up the yuzu in Ease, and simple syrup adds just a hint of sweet. Refreshing, delicious, and just a teensy bit fancy.

THE STORY

We borrowed this one directly from our friends at Aplós. No edits needed. It's perfectly simple yet distinctive.

We’re making it with Aplós Ease, which layers yuzu, basil, shiso, and dandelion botanicals with lion’s mane, magnesium, and L-theanine.

Cucumber, mint, and lime meet all those lovely botanicals, and suddenly drinking your vegetables feels like a very good, very Ease-y (see what I did there?) idea.

INGREDIENTS

Makes one drink.

  • 2 oz Aplós Ease
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • ¾ oz simple syrup
  • 3 cucumber wheels
  • 4–6 fresh mint leaves
  • Ice
  • Splash of soda water, optional

MAKE IT

  • Lightly muddle the cucumber and mint in a cocktail shaker.
  • Add Aplós Ease, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup.
  • Fill generously with ice and shake until well chilled.
  • Strain into a glass over fresh ice.
  • Add a splash of soda water if you’re feeling bubbly.
  • Garnish with cucumber or mint.

That’s it. Cool, green, and waaaaaay more sophisticated than the effort involved would suggest.

🍸 Lazy Barkeep Verdict:
Yes, there's muddling. Yes, there's shaking. So, this cocktail doesn't meet the Lazy Barkeep bar. BUT! The ingredients are easy (you might even have them on hand right now), and the drink is wildly refreshing, so it's an on-the-cusp build worth trying.

Enjoy your moment of Zen! 🍸
