NØLO Recipe: Midnight Martini

Many thanks to our friends at Missouri-based Saint Heck for this bitter and complex riff on the Espresso Martini. Easy to serve any time, and perfect to dress up at Halloween.
Espresso, amaro, and a reason to break out your most gorgeous coupe glasses. Three ingredients. A little shaking. Very respectable witchcraft, indeed.
Ingredients
Makes one drink
- 2 oz Saint Heck Amaro Wierenga
- 1 oz chilled espresso
- ½ oz simple syrup
- Ice
- 3 coffee beans, for garnish
Make It
- Add the Amaro Wierenga, chilled espresso, and simple syrup to a shaker.
- Fill with ice and shake hard for 15–20 seconds.
- Strain into a chilled coupe.
- Float three coffee beans on top.
🕷️ Lazy Barkeep Verdict: Three ingredients and one shaker to wash. Totally worth it.
