Dec 26, 2025
Make a pitcher for a crowd, or a bit just for you. Sparkling and citrusy, laden with seasonal fruits, this is the cocktail that will raise the cheer of all the revelers you're responsible for satisfying.
The History
This recipe comes from our friends at Bittermilk, a South Carolina-based company with deep roots in the restaurant and bar industry. Husband-and-wife team Joe and MariElena Raya sought to simplify the process of making craft cocktails at home.
Bittermilk is their line of concentrated cocktail mixers made by bartenders for cocktail enthusiasts. Crafted with real ingredients and bottled by human hands in Charleston, SC.
Make It
Time to prepare: 5 minutes
- 1 Bottle dry sparkling white wine or champagne (we use Surely Sparkling Brut or Freixenet Sparkling Brut)
- 1 Bottle Bittermilk No.5 (Charred Grapefruit Tonic)
- Citrus wheels, pomegranate seeds, rosemary sprigs
For one drink, mix 2 parts Bittermilk No.5 to 3 parts wine in a glass and garnish.
Celebrate your sparkling good fortune.
