With natural caffeine, it's a fantastic brunch-time go-to adapted from Drømme’s original Awake Blackberry Basil Press. A just-right, brings the sweet and the heat, zero-proof cocktail that feels fancy without requiring bartender-level ambition.
The Story
Drømme’s Awake is the heated, bright, functional, botanical backbone to this easy highball-style drink. Blackberries add juicy tartness, basil keeps it fresh, simple syrup softens the edges, and soda water gives it that crisp patio-drink finish.
Lion's Mane mushroom, B12, Guayusa Extract, Ginseng, MCT oil, and ashwagandha are all part of Awake's functional blend.
Translation: this is what you make when you want something pretty, refreshing, and not remotely boring.
Ashwagandha should not be consumed if you're pregnant or trying to get pregnant.
Make It
- 4 fresh blackberries
- 5 fresh basil leaves
- 0.5 oz simple syrup
- 1.5 oz Drømme Awake
- Soda water
- Ice
- Basil leaf, for garnish
Add blackberries and basil to a shaker and gently muddle. Add Drømme Awake and simple syrup with ice. Shake until chilled.
Strain into a highball glass over fresh ice. Top with soda water.
Garnish with a basil leaf and sip while brunching.
