NØLO Recipe: The Nøgroni
Apr 03, 2025
Welp, there are a bajillion booze-free combinations to make a Nøgroni at home, but here's one of our favorite combinations. Easy, breezy, and altogether booze-free-zy. Perfect anytime. And of course, it's great for all my fellow lazy barkeeps.
Want something even easier? We've got you! St. Agrestis and The Pathfinder both have ready to drink options!
The History
The Negroni cocktail is a classic aperitivo. She's said to hail from Florence, Italy in 1919 when the debonaire and dashing (or at least that's how I picture him) Count Camilla Negroni wanted a stronger version of his favorite Americano cocktail, replacing the soda water with fully loaded gin.
The Negroni cocktail is a simple three-ingredient drink: equal parts gin, Campari ,and sweet vermouth.
Our Negroni cocktail is made up of equal parts booze-free gin, sweet vermouth, and campari-esque bitter apéritif.
Make It
- 1 part Monday Gin (or your favorite non-alcoholic gin)
- 1 part Wilderton Bittersweet (or your favorite non-alcoholic apéritif)
- 1 Part Free Spirits Spirit of Vermouth Rosso (or your favorite sweet vermouth)
Pour over 1 large ice cube in a rocks glass. Stir. Garnish with a cherry or orange twist. Give yourself a high five and dream of spring.
